जिन महिलाओं को नद्यपान की शिकायत है, उनके लिए डोब घास बहुत फायदेमंद है। इसका उपयोग करने के लिए, सबसे पहले घास की घास को पीस लें और चार से पांच चम्मच रस निकालें। कोच घास के इस रस को रोजाना सुबह लेने से नद्यपान और इससे जुड़ी कई समस्याएं खत्म हो जाती हैं। दूर्वा गर्भपात को रोकने में भी बहुत फायदेमंद औषधि है। जिन महिलाओं को गर्भावस्था के दौरान अत्यधिक रक्तस्राव होता है या गर्भपात की संभावना बढ़ जाती है, उनके लिए भी कोच जूस लेना बहुत फायदेमंद होता है।

ऐसी महिलाएं नियमित रूप से कोच के रस में 4-5 चम्मच नियमित रूप से मिश्री मिलाकर दिन में दो से तीन बार लेना शुरू करती हैं। यह न केवल रक्तस्राव को राहत देगा, बल्कि गर्भपात की संभावना को भी समाप्त करेगा। इसके अलावा भी कोच के कई फायदे हैं। त्वचा संबंधी रोगों में भी दूब बहुत फायदेमंद है। यह एंटी-सेप्टिक गुणों का भंडार है। खुजली, एक्जिमा, कुष्ठ रोग जैसे रोगों में कोच चमत्कारिक लाभ देता है।

हरी कोच घास को हल्दी के साथ पीसकर त्वचा पर लगाएं। सभी प्रकार की त्वचा की समस्याओं का निदान किया जाता है। एनीमिया को दूर करने के लिए भी कोच घास के रस का उपयोग किया जाता है। यह रक्त को शुद्ध करने का भी काम करता है। कोच घास के ताजे रस के सेवन से मानसिक बीमारियाँ जैसे मिर्गी, हिस्टीरिया आदि काफी हद तक दूर हो जाती हैं। इसके अलावा यह अल्सर को रोकने, मधुमेह को नियंत्रित करने और सर्दी और खांसी की समस्या को दूर करने में भी बहुत फायदेमंद है।
